PROJECT OVERVIEW:
Client: Ceres Environmental Services
Timeline: 30 Days
Highway Patrol. Army personnel. County emergency relief workers. What do they all have in common? They were disaster relief workers after Hurricane Ike hit Chambers County, Texas and they all needed to be fed. That’s where Target Logistics came in. Our mobile catering services ensured that relief workers were well nourished on and off the job. Target Logistics fed 600 workers in three locations: 300 per day out of Anahuac, 150 out of Mont Belvieu, 150 out of Winne. The extreme conditions left by this natural disaster did not slow us down, but pushed us to deliver results that much more efficiently. Twenty-four hours later, to be exact.
KEY CHALLENGES
Disaster area. Limited resources. Extreme heat.
THE EXTRA MILE
Within 24 hours of being called for Hurricane Ike relief, Target Logistics was on-site serving its first hot meal – beef brisket.
