When accommodations were scarce after Hurricane Katrina, Target Logistics delivered an offshore solution -- the MV Dream cruise ship. This customized floatel accommodated 1,100 FEMA, USPHS, and student relief workers over the course of five months. From security to 24-hour catering, Target Logistics staffed and managed the entire operation.
KEY CHALLENGES
Provide immediate housing solution in a place where there was no time, or land, to build a camp.
